Montenotte

At 659 m above sea level stands the village of Montenotte, historically important for the Battle of Montenotte between the French, led by Napoleon Bonaparte, and the Austro-Piemontesis of 12 April 1796.
This battle is remembered by a memorial (incision on rock topped by cross) affixed in 1996, on the bicentenary, in the place where the chapel of Santa Croce was before being destroyed in that battle.

Adelasia Reserve

The Reserve is so-called after the eponymous fortress named after Princess Adelasia, daughter of Emperor Otto I of Saxony, who according to popular legend during her escape to Liguria with her beloved Aleramo, the squire and whom she had married against her father's will, in these woods she found a safe refuge before reaching the coast where they founded the city of Alaxia , today's famous Alassio.

Genoa Aquarium

The Aquarium of Genoa is an aquarium located in Ponte Spinola, in the sixteenth-century ancient port of Genoa. At the time of the inauguration, it was the largest in Europe and the second largest in the world. From opening to 2014 it was visited by more than 25 million visitors, with an average of 1.2 million per year.

Finalborgo

Finalborgo is one of the three urban centers forming the town of Finale Ligure, an Italian municipality in the province of Savona. Until 1927 autonomous municipality, it was later merged with Finale Pia and Finale Marina to form today's municipality of Finale Ligure

Darsena of Savona

The beating heart of Savona dock, where tradition and modernity go hand to hand. Active since the early Middle Ages, has always been extremely relevant to the economy of the capital and its hinterland. Due to the importance of the traffic of goods and cruising vessels, it is in fact the second port of Liguria after Genoa and among the first in Italy and the Mediterranean Sea.

Glass Museum

The Glass Art Museum of Altare, held in the halls of Villa Rosa, offers its visitors a review of artefacts produced from 1650 to the present day, as well as tools and supports for craftsmanship.
The collection includes artworks divided into categories: artistic glass, functional glass, glass for the farmo-chemistry, equipment of the old manufacturer, as well as the collection of books and magazines preserved in the Glass Art specialized library.

Cairo Castle

A sort of guardian angel on the village below, judge placed on the commercial street Magistra Langarum and protagonist of a popular legend starring Francesco d'Assisi. The ancient Castle of Cairo Montenotte represented all this, today reduced to ruins but once a strategic point of the Marchesato del Carretto and promoter of one of the most prosperous periods for the Cairo village.

Osiglia Lake

Osiglia Lake is an artificial basin, built following the construction of the Osiglietta Dam between 1937 and 1939. It is the largest freshwater reservoir in Savona Province and is a fishing tourist reserve. During its construction, part of the country was submerged. When, for maintenance reasons, the basin is drained, the ancient ruins resurface offering a unique spectacle.

Noli

Bórgio Verèzzi

Grotte di Toirano
